SPEECH DAY, 12TH NOVEMBER 1926.

This was the last of the Bicentenary celebrations, when parents gathered from long distances as well as from Salisbury and the neighbourhood, to join with the School in honouring the memory of the Founder, and to enjoy the third performance of the play given for their benefit. The note that was sounded on this occasion was, however, not only in memory of the past, but was a challenging note to all the present and future members of the School to hold firmly by its best traditions and make them ” a stepping stone to higher things.”
