WILLIAM MAXWELL HAMMICK (Governor, 1896-1915).

Mr. Hammick seldom missed any attendance at meetings of the Town Council or the Infirmary or the Salisbury Education Committee, or of the Godolphin Governors. Besides giving very practical help to the school on many occasions, his interest in it was especially great and well informed, as he sent his daughters to it, and by their daily coming and going could learn much of what went on within its walls.
